If you spend some time in Peninsula, one very popular activity is biking though the town, along the Towpath trail and through the park in general. Century Cycles offers bike rentals, and with the number of bikes we've seen there on our visits, it looks to be a popular option. We haven't done it ourselves yet, so I haven't a better review. But, if I don't get a bike between now and Spring, I will likely rent one and let you know how it all goes.
The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is run by a separate company, but makes several stops within the park. Its a good way to get around, especially since this park's layout is so confusing. Since the railroad runs parallel to the Towpath trail, you can hike along with trail and ride the train back, or vice versa.
