Not much to discover here, at least not for adults. This is more like a playground than a real museum. There is a small aquarium, and lots of other things involving water. Recommended only for those younger than 12.
Unique Suggestions: Let the kids enjoy it. The younger ones might have some fun.
Fun Alternatives: The other attractions in Dayton are a lot better.

If you have kids this would be a great place, however its billed as a Natural History Museum. In fact it's an overgrown indoor playground. Not the place for any serious science exhibits for adults.

The only tourist trap I can think of is if a Tourist happend to be driving through Dayton on there way to somewhere else and then their car broke down. Trapped.

Q: Is there parking for tractor-trailer trucks at the museum? Usually, if there is parking for tour buses, big trucks can park there,...

A: There is available parking at the museum for buses and motorhomes. Sorry, I don't know the museum's policy as far as big trucks using these spots. -Gary
