WILDEFLOWER Says: Festivals are held thru the year at the campgrounds. They even have a place to eat popcorn and a concession stand. There is a little grocery up the road if you need anything else. Swim in the lake.

Cranberry's is food and Spirits(their dinner & lunch specials are great),Capt.'s Point(seafood, steak and spirits), Tilton Hilton(biggest hamburgers for the best money) , LaPizzeria(the best pizza, its loaded for the money), Black Hawk resturant is the place for cheap everything including morning coffee), The Donut Shop selld out their donuts quickly(but they are the best around, coffee, juice can be purchased there also), Antonio's(italian, complimentary stuffed clam with dinner yum, yum)

Get a copy of the Park Laws so you don't spend a night in jail. They are pretty strict at this park! Gary Alshire is the Ranger in this picture.

I noticed not only tents in the park, but many RV's and campers looked like they were set up there very comfortably. This lady I met was really nice. Say hi Evelyn!

Hurleys farm has been around since the 1800's. I really enjoyed walking in this old place. It's very small and has wheelchair access if needed.
What to buy: Food and gifts.
What to pay: cheap!

I found that I needed to ask before taking pictures. One of the vendors got rather nasty that I was taking pictures around her booth. However I met this nice man and he allowed me to steop inside his tent and take a picture!

Buy your groceries before you get to our area. This is a resort area and prices are a little high.
Fun Alternatives: Hurley Farm for the vegtables.
Kroger in Bellefontaine for other things. There is a Walmart in Bellefontaine too!

Luggage and bags: Wear whatever you will for the changing of the seasons.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring some rugs. This place gets really muddy after it rains.
Miscellaneous: Say hi to the Millers if you see them!

This farm has lots of vegtables and a craft shop inside. The place is old and beautiful to visit. It's located on ST. RT. 117 outside of Huntsville, OH. We have all kinds of little towns around the lake. Our area realyy is a small community.

I really don't know if we can ride them. But I sure like petting them.
There is a fun place down the road from the state park to ride go karts etc....

On a beautiful Sept. evening we cruise out on the lake with friends and at 9:00p.m. everyone on the lake on the shores light red flares at the same time. The sight last only for about 15 minutes tops....
A small, shallow lake with rustic cabins and quaint shops & restaurants built all around the water. The park itself has camping facilities and holds a great fall craft show the last weekend in...
