You cannot walk down Madison Avenue or Detroit Road in Lakewood without noticing the high concentration of these establishments. The two roads are each perfect for a pub crawl, you won't have to worry about walking very far to the next stop! There are all sorts of bars as well- from sports-themed to classy, to the neighborhood dive bars.
After a Saturday night of drinking, you can visit some of the many churches of the city to redeem yourself :)

Beautiful Lake Erie view (not in Winter ...brrr!) and plenty of places for cookouts. Also - lots of shade trees, volleyball courts, baseball diamonds, and swinging benches that overlook the lake (see pic). Alas - no beach here, but pretty and enjoyable nonetheless.

I have family in Lakewood, so I am often up here visiting. Lakewood is basically part of Cleveland.
