We were famished and after finding almost all restaurants in Downtown closed we were directed here and boy, did we have the yummiest pizza ever! We ordered a 3 topping 14" pizza and it was made just perfect, even as she served it she exclaimed "That looks beautiful!" and we couldn't agree more. The thin crust pizza just melted in our mouth, fellow customer constantly exclaimed "That smells yum" as they walked by! :) Almost everyone seemed to know the hosts and with it's quaint christmas decor it made for the perfect restaurant for us!

This restaurant just behind the Courtyard and on the Church Street came highly recommended to us by the locals, however it was closed thru Christmas and New Year's. So guess we will have to visit Newark again to write a testimonial to Christy's.

Okies, this wasn't where we were headed but all the restaurant's that came recommended were closed on 26th Dec '09! So with growling stomach's we entered Mc D's to be served fries and coffee :) We sure luv'd it! And the guy at the counter even guided us to our lunch at Dan's Family Pizza. And some of the localites we met here conversed so freely with us, it felt like we had known them a long time! :)

Newark- a quiet little city with many attractions
The day after Christmas turned out to be a glorious sunny day, it was almost as if Nature said you will have snow on every day except Xmas and the day after Xmas :) So anyways, we decided it was time...
There is several places to see in and around Newark: Longaberger Basket Company, Dawes Arboretum, National Heisey Glass Museum and Blackhand Gorge Nature Preserve. Also, there is several paved bike......
