I know I went to school here, a long, long, long time ago. Amazingly, the campus has changed little. They've added Western Campus (it's east of the main campus), which was a separate school "Western College" when I was there.

Green Beer Day is celebrated by Miami students on the Thursday before Spring Break in March. Bars open at 5:30am and serve green-colored beer all day long.

Students wear humorous Green Beer Day t-shirts and some go to class after drinking.

It is a lot of fun and is a completely rebellious holiday. It is better than St. Patty's Day!

Get yourself a t-shirt, a ready and willing liver, and go get your green on!

There seemed to be a huge staff, which helped the tables turn around very quickly to get people in, fed, and out the door. For this reason, it felt a bit rushed, but this was a Sunday morning visit. On a weekday or earlier in the morning, it might not have felt quite so hurried.

The food was definitely great and I really liked the colors used in the decor. It seems like a good (and popular) place to go for weekend breakfast or brunch.

If I have a complaint, though, it's that I think you're closer to the person next to you than the person across the table from you. It can make it harder to hear/understand the person you're with because everyone in the restaurant is making an effort to speak loudly enough to be understood by their tablemate.

Favorite Dish: The homefries were excellent and there's a wide variety of pastries and baked goods.
