Sat out on the lake on a sunny Saturday afternoon and had a delicious omelet and a tasty Bloody Mary. The potato dish was a little too salty, but otherwise everything was yummy!

Sue asked us to accompany her to her 30th High School Reunion. I've never been to any of my own and I don't know a soul in Akron, Ohio (well, except for her) so I figured "What the Hell!"
Mel and I had a blast and somehow managed to make friends and keep many guessing as to who exactly we were....!
By the way, it was held at the Tangiers Restaurant. I would write a review of if, but all that was served to this party was standard party food. However, the Middle Eastern Food being served in the other rooms smelled great!

My friend has a weekly radio show for a local Akron Radio station. She let us come and play DJ and tape the show with her. Don't I just look like I know what I'm doing??

Favorite thing: Sure it was freezing most of the time I was there but it was spring and look, there were some signs of it!
Fondest memory: Who would've thought that it would be much colder in Ohio than in Boston in May. Goes to show you what I know, huh?

Favorite thing: Getting an hour-long truly good Pedicure for just $25!
Fondest memory: Yes, it's true that I can get a Pedicure at home but it's just part of a girl-bonding weekend!

Spent the weekend with some friends on the Portage Lakes in Akron, Ohio. It's a beautiful spot and a great way to spend a summer. Wish I could live on a lake but for now I'll live vicariously through...
