Stonelick Lake State Park Travel Guide

There are a few spillways at many Ohio lakes. This one is located at the end of the lake by the road as you come into the camping area. It's right before the sign.

Each park has camp rules, you'll see the list. Just respect others.

Luggage and bags: Waterproof luggage & bags

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Varies with season

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: I always bring extra toilet paper. Some people are rude or low lifes and steal the toilet paper if it's not locked up in the bath houses. Shampoo etc....

Photo Equipment: Bring camera and film. You will not want to miss the sunset opportunities and lake pictures. There are rare bird sightings here I'm told.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Beach towels, suntan lotion, sandals, bath shoes for showers, soap, tooth paste, tooth brush

Swimming, boating, hunting, fishing, hiking

Equipment: Use your senses. Bring whatever you need for yourself. There are also a volleyball & basketball courts, horseshoe pits and teherball. Playgrounds, bike & boat rentals.

Favorite thing: Camping is suppose to be relaxing. Try it you'll like it. Tents are fine. It's more comfortable with a blow up mattress for those if you who don't want to totally ruff it LOL!

Fondest memory: Peace and quiet. Sunsets and Full moon nights. Birds waking me in the morning. Just the sounds of nature at its best. Meeting nice people. Say hi to Vera and George. They were my favorite campers. George always has a story. Vera has a great cup of Milford coffee and a smile to go with it. Wish I didn't have to leave.
