The Alpine Hills Museum is an excellent museum with exhibits of the local Swiss culture. On the main floor, they have recreated rooms that were typical of a Swiss house and cheese factory. They also have Swiss clothing, a showcasing of the different bonnet styles from Amish women in different areas, and Indian artifacts. Downstairs there are carriages, caskets, old ice cream makers, and many other machines that were used in the past. Upstairs are household items, Swiss instruments, and medicines among other things. Information accompanies the exhibits, and many include buttons that dictate information when you press them.
You can watch a video about the town and its culture on the first floor. The museum relies on donations, so there is no entrance fee, but it is well worth donating some money!
