If you're going to be doing a lot of driving down state routes (like OH-250 or OH-585), you might find yourself stuck behind an Amish buggy or two. Occasionally you might even get stuck behind a buggy on one of Wooster's main streets. This doesn't happen too often, but it does happen, and impatient drivers can cause accidents. It is not uncommon to hear about automobiles hitting Amish buggies and causing fatalities for the Amish families involved, especially since a lot of locals have an enormously bad attitude towards the Amish. So there are a few rules of the road to be aware of: try not to pass a buggy until it is absolutely necessary, and under NO circumstances should you attempt to pass on a hill. Just slow down, be respectful of their right to be on the road, and enjoy the scenery...I mean, really, how many times will you be stuck behind an Amish buggy in your life?
