    "Not much happening around here"

"That's because Bridgeport is a true ghost town"

    "What's the story then ?"

"Well, the place owed it's commercial viability to a bridge built over the Canadian river here. The local entrepreneur apparantly charged the princely sum of a dollar a car to use it."

    "So ?"

"Well he made his money back, and more besides, but there were so many complaints the authorities first bought him out and lowered the toll. In the end they opened that other bridge we saw in 1933. Hence, end of viable town"

"It's not everyday you see a ghost town, lets have a poke around"

"Best offer I've had all day"
