Mazzio's is a chain of Pizza places. Decor is pretty typical for a chain restaurant, kinda bare. They specialize in pizza but also serve salads and pasta. I tried the Greek Pasta. It had a very unique taste and was very good. Worth a try if you need your food pretty fast.
In its "new" location for a couple of decades now, Johnnie's started in the 30's or 40's in a hole-in-the-wall downtown. It seats about 30 or so on a busy day. Breakfast ranges from pancakes to bacon & eggs, but the real demand is for yummy coneys & onion burgers. Part of the secret must be the age of the grill & thus its "seasoning," acquired over many years. Onion burgers are not for the faint of heart. The coneys are topped with chili & a cold, sweetish cole slaw. Mm-mm-mm! Same menu also at Robert's Grill & Sid's, but they are upstarts compared to Johnnie's.
Favorite Dish: Coneys. The mixture of warm hot dog, hot chili, and cold cole slaw. And it's good & sloppy.
