    Omniplex - OKC
Not just your usual run of the mill glass case museum!
If ypu're nto anything to do with space & aircraft i'd definately recommend this for at least a half day visit.
We were very lucky to see Tom Stafford's Gemini 6 space capsule and an Apollo simulator that you can ride in.
They also have a collection of Space suits and moon rock from the various Apollo missions as well as a Mercury Drop test capsule.

Apart from being the only IMAX theater in town (the Omnidome), the Kirkpatrick Air & Space Museum has a host of attractions, ranging from its air & space exhibits, to the planetarium and museum store, to the Japanese gardens and greenhouse, to the hands on exhibits for your kids (350 displays known as KIDSPACE). This is a unique collection of educational programs and exhibits that make the Kirkpatrick an interesting stop on your tour. The double bonus is that the Omnidome-Kirkpatrick is two minutes' walk from the Oklahoma City Zoo entrance.

Last time I went to the Omniplex it was called the Kirkpatrick center and did not have the dome finished yet. Haven't seen a movie in the Omnidome theater here but I've seen movies in other theaters like this one and it is a great experience. It is a great place for kids because I remember lots of hands on interactive exhibits that were very educational. It is a great museum complex.
