The Oklahoma City Stockyards are the largest stockyards in the world. For you city slickers a stockyard is a place where rancher go to bid on cattle.
You can watch thousands of cows pass through the gates eager to become part of your next Big Mac and there are auctionsMonday through Wednesday. The room where the auction is is stinky but you get the whole experience. You can take a tour Monday at 8 AM. You can also buy boots, hats, and anything else you need to be a cowboy in Stockyards City.
