Tulsa has very few rough areas to worry about. It is generally safe to travel anywhere in the city during the day, but at night, there are a few areas you might at least be on the alert.

    Downtown Tulsa
    North Tulsa (north of downtown)

Other than that, there are really no "bad" parts of town. Sure, there's some crime, but no more than any other city. I lived in Wichita, Kansas for 4 years where I only witnessed 2 crimes, and it is considered much more dangerous than Tulsa.

  • Oklahoman's aren't adept at merging on expressways. Anticipate that the person on the on-ramp in front of you very likely will STOP before entering the highway (yow!).

  • One Saturday night We decided to go clubbing downtown the city, the place was called ''Omega''.I was scocked by the fact that 1930's racism still alive in modern city!.the blacks were ganging together and so were the whites!
I have never expected to se a such scene especially in the states.one more thing NEVER NEVER NEVER try to approach a black girl there unless you are carrying a gun!
