If you are looking for Asian food, the Sumin's Sushi Bar is for you. This restaurant is a mixture of Korean and Japanese food.

The restaurant is located near the Information Center and across the Egyptian theater on Broadway Street in Coos Bay.

It's a small and very inexpensive restaurant.

Favorite Dish: Sushi and teriyaki

EZ Thai: Highly recommended Thai Restaurant in Coos Bay

I highly recommend this restaurant because their Thai food is the bum!

The restaurant is decorated in Thai fashion, with nice wood carvings from Thailand.

Once you enter the door of this restaurant, you feel great because of the ambience, very cool during the summer, airy, spacious, clean and very unique.

The decorations from Thailand add freshness and uniqueness of the restaurant.

Favorite Dish: We ordered some Satay and lumpia before our meal. These were so delicious. The sauce of the satay was made from freshly grounded peanuts and served in marinated cucumber.

Our tom yam was delicious, too. This was served with white boiled rice.

The waitress usually ask you if you want your food spicy, mild spicy or super hot spicy!

Remember, Thai food is very, very spicy so make sure that if you can't handle spicy food, just order mild.

Right under the Coos Bay Boardwalk sign, this is a good spot for fish and chips, chowder and more----we had 2 fish/chips, one chowder and 2 drinks at $14.95.
Only 2 tables but seating outside on nice days on the pier.

Favorite Dish: chowder

The Coach House: Missing those Grilled Potatoes
futureNFLmom profile photo

The back patio is amazing, they keep portable heaters on during the colder nights. The service is always excellent. The first time we ate there, I was a little freaked because the interior building was a little outdated and small. I am not sure if they remodeled or not.

The bar is always a blast! Karaoke is super fun and the drinks are well priced and well made!

Favorite Dish: I loved to order the prime rib... it was always amazing. The tuna is great! But, if you go... you have got to order the grilled baked potato. Lucky for us, when we moved from Coos Bay to Mobile, AL a few years ago, my husband called and explained that we had moved away and how much I love those potatoes. They swore him to secrecy and gave him the recipe. THANK GOODNESS!!!

There are a few things I miss about Coos Bay, this is one of the top 5!!!

A safe deposit for your appetite

Great atmosphere and well-prepared food - just off US 101 in downtown Coos Bay. I discovered it by accident, and it turned out to be one of those happy travel discoveries.

Favorite Dish: Fresh seafood. Abundant salads.
