Tidal Raves Restaurant: Tidal Raves - Food and Views
Amazing views of the waves crashing on the Oregon Coast. Good seafood with some inventive dishes. Small plates are available also. Full bar, and good local Oregon wine list.
Favorite Dish: Tiger Shrimp. Good spice, nice presentation, fresh ingredients.

Gracie's Sea Hag Restaurant and Lounge: Recommended by Michael Burkett
Prior to a February trip to the coast, my boss said, "Be sure to eat at the Sea Hag in Depoe Bay ... It has the best clam chowder." While the jury's still out on the "best" (I'm still on a years-long quest), it was dang good.
The Sea Hag has been a main stay on Main Street (Highway 101) for over 40 years, and features music and a huge menu that ranges from breakfasts, chowder, sea food sandwiches and "build your own burger" to such dinner entrees as Shrimp and Crab stuffed Salmon for $19.95 (the most expensive item on the menu).
According to its website, which includes menus, on Saturday night prime rib with Yorkshire pudding is a specialty.
Favorite Dish: Oyster sandwich on a bun, served with a cup of clam chowder, for $7.95. It made an excellent lunch on the Oregon coast, watching the ocean across the street.

I suggest eating at Tidal...
I suggest eating at Tidal Raves. The service was friendly and very efficient. The food was wonderful.
The view for lunch at the restaurant made the meal even better. We overlooked the bay with a view of the back to Inn at Arch Rock. The day was sunny, warm and moderate winds.
Favorite Dish: I had the Salmon Chowder with salad (topped with shrimp). A serving of garlic bread accompanied the meal. My husband had the Clam Chowder and found it to be good.
Favorite Dish: We stroll through the village and along the harbor. At one of the stands we bought a bag of caramelized popcorn, the local specialty, it’s very sweet and filling.
