Driving or Cycling to and away from Jacksonville
One of the great things about Jacksonville is that it is off the beaten path. However, to find Jacksonville could be confusing because of the network of winding roads in the area. I bicycled from Phoenix, OR, which has a major exit and truck stop on I-5, and had to make several turns. There are also backroads direct to Jacksonville from Ashland, Medford, and Grants Pass. The roads in the area are well marked with signs leading Jacksonville, fortunately, and bicycle lanes are common. Many local residents get their exercise by cycling the country roads of the area.

Take a Segway Tour of Town
Segway of Jacksonville is right across from the entrance to the old pioneer cemetary. The prices for rental are relatively steep by my wallet, so I didn't rent one. But, the large selection makes checking out these vehicles interesting. Check the website below for more information.
