Visiting the dorms and meeting friends studying there on a regular basis while staying in the area, has meant that OIT has become a familiar ground. Therefore I added this photo of a snow covered OIT.

This is another scenic alternate to Hiway 101 just south of Klamath.(coming out a few miles from Orick) We took it and saw Big Tree Wayside, a really big tree and only about 2 minutes from the parking lot. Other wonderful trees to be seen all along the road.

7th largest and deepest lake in the world within the remains of an ancient volcano. Spectacular scenery and great hiking trails.
