The Joel Palmer House: Mushroom Lovers - must visit!
This is a destination place. It worth a visit even if you are not very close.
Everything is with mushrooms! Soop was just wonderful, never ate anything like this! Salad was very good, too. Appetizers on a house was what makes me remember this place.
Wine list is huge! And there is a person who helps you to choose wine with whatever you decided to eat.
The restaurant , I beleive, is in a house of J. Palmer. On a first floor. Very nice and cozy interior. Great service!
I am not a very good writer, and cannot describe it very well, but I was really impressed and consider Joel Palmer - the artist. I even got his autograph in my book about Oregon wine (there is a short story about him and his picture)
Favorite Dish: Mushroom soop!

Quite a few...
There were quite a few eating establishments that I would recommend... Chris' (fine dining), Hotel Oregon - McMenamins (cigar bar downstairs, pub dining and roof top bar), Golden Valley Brewery & Pub (cosy family atmosphere), Sage (fine dining by a creek) and Kame (Japanese).
Photo shown is from the roof top bar at Hotel Oregon with its views of McMinnville. A place to go during the day with friends to chill back and for a romantic night cap with a loved one.
Favorite Dish: Hmmm, wish I could remember the names of many menu items, but some of the dishes that stood out were: halibut, crumbed oysters, and Terminator cheescake mixed with a microbrew.
Another thing you must try is the microbrews and local wines... Evolution No. 9 by Sokol Blosser (one of my faves).
