We stopped by on a Saturday night- still plenty of seating. We ordered the pork ribs, the three meat platter, and the prime rib. All meals came with two side dishes and bread. We all enjoyed our meals, and all took home doggy bags- way to much delicious food. The prime rib was excellent- not dry at all. And the barbecue beans tasted amazing. The ribs were good and spicy , and the deep fried jalapeno rings were quite zesty. The waitress was great- friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back.
Favorite Dish: The prime rib was tender and juicy. The jalapeno rings were zesty,and the barbecue beans had a sweet delicious taste.

When in Roseburg, I never miss dinner at Anthony's. Family owned and operated, several of these recipes, include the famous cheesecake, are direct from Mama. They have a terrific selection of local wines and the staff is very informed on the qualities of each one. Food, atmosphere and service are all excellent - not to be missed!
Favorite Dish: The cheesecake is made on site and is fantastic. Also, the artichoke dip appetizer and the pork 'osso buco'. Local wine is also a plus.

Too many to list! For everyday food, you can't beat Casey's. Located behind a service station, just off Garden Valley Blvd. Voted the best place in town for breakfast. This is a family owned/run restaurant.
For the meat lovers: Beef-n-Brew, located in the Roseburg Valley Mall
Pizza: You have to experience the local pizza palor, Abby's. They started in Roseburg and has been the place to be after any local high school game.
Of course, there is always fast food --- we still have a car hop fast food called Pete's -- don't forget the 'goop' with your fries!
Casey's doesn't charge an arm & leg (compared to Beef-n-Brew) It's clean, but outdated furniture. Sometimes the chairs stick to the carpet. Friendly and fast wait staff.
Favorite Dish: My favorite meal at Casey's is their Biscuits & Gravy.
