Yes, well, I suppose grass-cutting isn't the sort of activity one goes on vacation to see, but this was a little different. Alfter our 2-day trip along the scenic Highway 101, from LA, we stayed at Phil's beach house in Seal Rock. And, of course, the grass just had to be cut!
Seal Rock has the most wonderful beach, soft silver-gold sand, and easy access from the highway. It's just the place to have a picnic or BBQ.
Favorite thing: Sunset over the beach at Seal Rock. This was my last view of the Pacific Ocean, as next day we headed inland towards Portland. Phil has a beach house here, and from his garden you can see out over the Ocean. Some people have all the luck, LOL!
Favorite thing: Here's a photo of my host, Phil (VT's Phildeni), on his beach at Seal Rock. Nice beach, Phil, you lucky man!
Favorite thing: The beach at Seal Rock, showing its magnificent Dragon's Teeth rocks, just out to sea. The beach here, being fairly isolated, is never overcrowded with visitors.
