This water fall is not the tallest in the area; it does carry a fairly large volume and would carry even more had not the locals decided to make a hydroelectric plant that channeled much of its water through a pipeline.
That having been said it is a very beautiful waterfall and is certainly worth a look. It is only ΒΌ mile from the parking lot and is very easy to find. The main visible fall is about 85 feet (25 m) and spits out from a columnar basalt platform into an oasislike pool.
On the way to the trailhead you will undoubtedly notice the 12 foot (3 m) in diameter pipeline which has a few leaky holes. The pipeline looks very out of place but that is just me.
One other possible location that one may find in the area is a hot spring which the trailhead explains is 108 degrees F (42 c), about the size of a standard hot tub and is accessible by trail. I did not have time to find it but it may be worth your while.
