When in town for a Celtic festival, you simply must go to Donegal Square and look at (and buy) some Celtic souvenirs, jewelry, or a kilt! This shop, located on Main Street near our hotel, was just a treat to browse through. They had lots of things that reminded us of when we lived in England and toured Scotland. The place was very crowded and busy (it was a festival of like-minded people) so I didn’t even attempt to look at the jewelry section. But the prices were just about right for what they were selling, the selection fantastic, and the very busy clerks were friendly despite the crowds. I would definitely like to return here when there isn’t as many people – although I’d probably spend more than I should if I go back…

The book shop is the smallest section of this shop which looks as though they expanded into neighboring storefronts. They carry various collectable items and figurines. They have a gourmet deli in the rear of the store to get a bite to eat. A must see when in Bethlehem.

Cleo's is one of those places where you can find a gift for anyone that's hard to shop for. In fact, everytime I go in there looking for gifts for others, I end up buying something for myself! They have very interesting, different, funky jewelry, candleholders, scarves, housewares, vases, clocks, and everything in between. There is a workshop in the back, and someone is always working- a lot of the jewelry in particular I think is made there, including necklaces of the Moravian Star, which is all over Bethlehem. They also have a decent assortment of soaps, lotions, and greeting cards.
What to pay: Varies. Jewelry appears to be mostly in the $25-$100 range, candleholders anywhere from $20-$150 depending on how exotic.
