    Bryn Athyn Cathedral

This place is simply amazing. I've been to this place many times to walk around and sit in the sun, but I finally got a chance to walk inside for a tour of this place. Lets just say this building is very interesting. This is a little paragraph from their website:

"In the Bryn Athyn Cathedral there are no right angles or straight lines. The walls of the building are skewed against each other, bowing out in the middle only to return at the opposite wall. This subtle quality represents the unpredictable path of human growth. This spiritual principle is the very foundation of the design of this web site. We welcome you and invite you to come again."

The thing about the angles is true. There are NO two things that are the same in that place. Every sinle window differs from the rest in either its frame shape, number of planks, number of glass pieces it has, the aron work and the ingravings. NO two arches in that place are the same. They are different width and height and shape. Even the hinges on the doors are all different and the big wooden doors are all different as well. They have a huge key box that has huge keys to every single door in that Cathedral and they are all different in shapes and sizes and not one key open more than one door. Many of the things I did not notice at first but they were pointed out to me by the guide.

This place is simply remarkable. There is free parking if you decide to come. You can bring blanket and lunch and just sit or play on the Cathedral's territory. They have plenty of beautiful grass to lay on or walk around on. You can get a great exercise just walking around the property. This is also a great place to see the sunset as you are on top of a hill facing the sun in a wide open area. If you make it around this area, make sure you visit this place.
