The Pocono Bazaar is a year round flea market that is open every weekend from 9-5. It's just down 209 from Bushkill Falls, so you may want to stop by if you have the time. They have the usual goodies as most flea markets do, cheap clothes, books, those boxes and boxes of $1 items, jewlery, tin signs, and a smattering of antiques. There are also some food products, fresh produce, apple butters and a soup and dip place that had free samples! MMM I got the creamy potato soup!.
What to pay: less than or about avarage
There is an entire little village of log cabin styled buildings at the entrance of the trails in Bushkill falls. There are a couple of snack shops, with outside picnic areas. A museum or 2, and a plethora of souvenier shops. They offer all kinds of items, from Native American "artifacts" to blankets and t-shirts and weird little knick knacks with pictures of the falls, to giant pink straw sun hats, because it's really sunny in the forest....well I guess it would be hard to lose someone wearing one of those...
What to buy: I wanted the socks with the moose on them, but we took so long that the store was closed by the time we got back:( (6:30pm)
On our 1st trip to Bushkill Falls, Lou and I got this photo taken of us in a booth they have by the souvenier shop.
What to pay: Avarage overpriced Souvenier prices
$2 for a bottle of water
