On the Pennsylvania side just south of the town, Delaware Water Gap, there is a pullover called the Resort Point Overlook on PA-611. It is a good place to get a view of the I-80 bridge across the Delaware River and the exit to the Kittatinny Point Visitor Center on the New Jersey side. The pictures also show the way you get to Old Mine Road by going under the bridge. One of the videos is a panorama from Resort Point Overlook.
The Point of Gap Overlook is on the Pennsylvania side on PA-611 between the towns of Delaware Water Gap and Portland. There is a large parking lot and a gazebo with views of the Gap. However, I was the only one there. One of the videos is a panorama from the gazebo.
Just east of the Kittatinny Point Visitor Center on the access road to the Dunnfield Exit, there is a small paved parking lot and fishing access to the Delaware River. You can see Mount Tammany (1527 feet elevation) and the Gap well from there.
Minsi Lake, located between Portland and Bangor, PA. About 8 miles from the Delaware Water Gap. The scenery here in the fall is absolutely spectacular.
