Besides having a fantastic amusement park, Hershey also offers great discount shopping!
Before we left the area, we stopped at the Hershey Outlets. It includes 60 shops--here are some examples: Brooks Bothers, Mikasa, Calvin Klein, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger and many, many more! If you want to find discounted famous name items, stop here for a look!
The discount prices are generally what you would find in your favorite store during a sale--except these are their regular prices. As in most outlets, you'll find even lower prices at the end of the season.
Hours are Mon.-Sat. 9:30 am-9 pm and Sun. 11 am-5 pm.
What to buy: Clothing--shoes--house accessories--many things!
What to pay: All discounted!
At the Hershey's Chocolate World and Themepark, they have lots and lots of souvenir shops selling chocolates, clothes, bags and other souvenirs stuffs. The prices of their chocolates here are cheaper than the one you will find at a regular grocery store. So, grab the chance :-)
What to buy in Hershey? Chocolate, of course! You can get all the current types of Hershey prepackaged chocolates as well as many yummy homemade goodies at the restaurants. Need your own “world’s largest chocolate bar”? No, problem. You can find it here (for a price!).
The shops in the park and in Chocolate World have a variety of non-food items as well, all decorated with the Hershey brand – household items, clothing, toys, souvenirs, jewelry, and just plain fun items. It is almost as fun shopping at Hershey as it is riding the roller coasters.
We typically save our shopping at the park until the end of the day, and then hit the shops that are along the way to the exit. Warning! Lots of other people do this too! But it saves us from having to carry our purchases during the day. Of course, some things were meant to be eaten immediately after purchase – the summer heat will just melt that chocolate so don’t take any chances!
At Hershye's Land, you can find lots of designer labels in their Outlet store. Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Max Mara, Banana Republic etc. Their prices are really cheaper by 10 to 20% from the regular price.
