The sign says MEATS but they have a lot more than that in this general store.
Besides fresh cuts of beef, pork, lamb, smoked meats and lots of cheeses, they have some great homemade pies and cakes and shelves and shelves of pickled everything. The style is Pennsylvania-Dutch so you get things like ShooFly Pie and MinceMeat Pie and Black Walnut Cake. The pickled items include: pickled beets, pickled sauerkraut, picled corn relish.
The prices are very reasonable; everything is homemade; the people are friendly.
So stop in to Dietrichs.
Nice quiet place to get an early morning cup of coffee or a satisfying Pennsylvania-Dutch style meal in a comfortable setting. Not sure why the name SkyView but the place was easy to find and not at all crowded.
Diner-style setting with friendly local gal taking the orders. Turkey club sandwich was good for lunch. The menu for dinner had items like roasted pork, saurkraut and green beans, grilled steak and tossed salad. Nothing fancy; just good local cooking served with a smile.
You can as much coffee as you wish to order but not one beer.
It is a favorite with truckers for breakfast and lunch.
