The lady at the front desk at our hotel suggested the restaurant at the Best Western across the street for dinner. It was pretty good! On Sundays they have a dinner buffet. They had a salad bar, plus a salmon dish, cream of brocoli soup, pea pods, chicken a la king with rice, meatloaf, pork chops with baked apples, and some kind of shrimp, I think. Sorry, I don't pay much attention to the seafood choices. The buffet went for $11 per person.

Favorite Dish: The soup, meatloaf, chicken, rice & vegetable were very good. The salad bar was plain, but all choices were fresh. There was also a desert table with various cakes and pie. We shared a slice of carrot cake that was scruptious and made us feel very guilty and full.

This convenience store was our catch-all supply store. Need toothpaste? Mouth wash? Tape? A snack? Something to drink? Breakfast-to-go? This is your place.

What to buy: Their breakfast items were very good: Hot breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, sausage or bacon on a bagel or muffin, plus hash browns & coffee.

What to pay: It was about $10 for breakfast for two. $8 for bottle of soda, a tube of toothpaste & small sized mouth wash.
