Earl Hart Jamison, founded Peddler's Village in 1962 on six acres of property once known as Hentown because it was a chicken hatchery. Earl decided to transform the buildings into 14 shops and a Bull Restaurant. Winding brick pathways meander their way through aware winning gardens also designed by Earl.

Earl tried to reflect and maintain the architectural style of colonial America. And although there are some old buildings, most if it really isn't old but was built to look that way. It covers an area of over 40 acres, with numerous shops.

Q: How easy will it be to get a wheelchair around Peddlers village??

A: Lahaska Village is an area that is pretty spread out and is a little bit on the hilly side. The restaurant area is pretty acessible.
