If you do not know what to do in Lancaster this is a great idea. It is mostly shopping, and guys there are not many stores just for you on this tour. However, the drive from place to place is nice.
One way to tell how popular of a tour this is would be just how many locals you will see doing the tour with you.
When visiting Lancaster, my family and I caught a Lancaster Barnstormers game at Clipper Magazine Stadium and loved it. The Barnstormers are a minor league team, and we got to see some good baseball. This is truly an event for the family. My kids loved the brand new playground area, inflatable slides, bumper boats, and merry go round. The food was great (we ate at Hess's Barbecue in the park), the park was clean, tickets are cheap, and my entire family had a great night.

Truthfully Litiz reminds me of what Lancaster used to be like before it became built up. We did spend some time only a few hours here on or last day. I wish we had gone here on our first day and spent less time in Lancaster proper.
There is so much to see there just take a look at their web site. It really is too much to list here.
By far the highlight of our trip was an afternoon spent touring the HD plant in York (about 15 minutes west on route 30). We had a guided tour of the actual manufacturing facility and the showroom had many nice bikes you could look at and use for photo ops. There is a nice gift shop and very friendly staff. The tours can vary in length, we are told, ours was over an hour. It began with an enjoyable 10 minute film on the history of Harley Davidson.
I believe they are having an open house in late Sept 2011 to unveil the new models. There will be foods, selfguided tours and the ability to test drive the new bikes. Sounds even better!
The tours are free and we highly recommend enthusiasts to take advantage. Enjoy!

One of the world's best-preserved historic iron making facilities, Cornwall Iron Furnace operated from 1742 to 1883. It was among the earliest iron furnaces in Pennsylvania and was distinguished for its role in the manufacture of cannon and munitions during the American Revolution.
