 Rhondaj Says:  Bring your sunblock. By afternoon, Bear Creek gets the sun on its slopes. On a cold day, it's a welcomed friend! Sunglasses or goggles cut down the glare. 

 Rhondaj Says:  There are still plenty of cranky, wooden, two seaters. I like this lift over on the far right of the slopes. It skims above the ground between pine trees. 

 Rhondaj Says:  Now a part of the 21st Century, Bear Creek has a quad chair lift. But usually only one or two people go up per chair. I've said it before, and I'll say it again-go early! Look at that wide open, empty slope! ah, bliss 

 Rhondaj Says:  While you're chowing down, you can watch the skiers and boarders out on the slopes. Or you can park non-skiers who came up with you in here for the day. They can eat and watch--you'd be surprised how many people actually do this! 

 Rhondaj Says:  The cafeteria is upstairs. Very nice. Cozy wooden furniture, two huge, double-sided stone fireplaces. Usual choices of food: pizza, burgers, chicken fingers, soups, a set hot meal of the day, salads, sandwiches. Lots to choose from. If you want table service the restaurant... 

 Rhondaj Says:  If you hate clomping up and down stairs with awkward ski boots on-relief. Right outside the locker room, at the rear of the lobby is an elevator to whisk you upstairs to the dining area. There is also an ATM machine tucked in the corner so you can take out more money for...
