In the summer of 1969, we attended an antique car show in New Hope. This is a show that has been held every year since 1957, and is still being held.
We drove there in our 1932 Plymouth. We belong to the Plymouth 4 & 6 Cylinder Owner's Club, and they have their National Summer Meet at New Hope.

Well.. you can try and park at New Hope or go over to Lambertville, New Jersey, and park there. Lambertville is a twin city of New Hope and is very nice also... with shops and restaurants etc.
So.. it is convienent to park in New Jersey and just walk over to New Hope. I have walked the bridge a few times and it is nice.. plus the views are great :)

There is metered parking available but if you can't find anything after a look around, just head for one of the lots and pay the $5 or so for all-day parking. Mechanic Street has several parking lots and is not as congested as other streets in the area. The streets are narrow, many are one-way and driving around is just not fun. It's a town that's meant to be walked so get rid of the gas-guzzler and enjoy.
