  • Zanzibar Blue: Jazz and Good Food

Dinner and jazz: what more could you ask for? This is one of the swank nightspots in Philadelphia, blending excellent live jazz with excellent food. It's a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it for a fun evening of good food, wine, and music. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is, so I'll stop here. :)

Dress Code: Dress nicely. I wore a suit jacket, but no tie. You could dress less than this.. maybe a nice sweater, or maybe just a nice shirt without a tie.

Zanzibar Blue is a cool place on Broad Street, aka the Avenue of the Arts, that features good jazz and blues. I went in here once for a drink at the bar with a buddy of mine, but it was a little too early and things hadn't quite started jumpin'. I hear it's a great place after 10 pm though.

    Dress Code: dress to impress
