The Philadelphia Eagles
As I am not really a big football person; I never really keep up with the teams, but we were in Philadelphia the weekend before the Superbowl (Eagles vs. Patriots) and the whole city was Eagles crazed. Museums and attractions were letting people in for half off if they were wearing Eagles gear. At night, the city's buildings were all bathed in Green lights in honor of the team. People in this city really love their football. It was interesting to me because they are playing our team in the Superbowl. It was like spying on the enemy, except I don't really care all that much. I mean if it were baseball that would be a whole different story.

GOING TO AN EAGLES GAME!
The Philadelphia Eagles call Lincoln Financial Field home. The stadium was completed in 2003 for $512 million dollars and seats 68,532 people. There are 172 luxury suite seats and 10,828 club seats. Two thirds of the seats are in the front row situated sixty feet from the sidelines. Two large club lounges, a pro shop and numerous novelty shops and concession stands are contained throughout the stadium. Lincoln Field also hosts soccer games and concerts.
The Eagles first season as a professional football franchise was in 1933. The football team has seen two super bowls and has won three NFL titles and are part of the Eastern Division of the National Football Conference.
My husband says their seats on the 50 yard line were fantastic with a terrific view, the attendants helpful, the facility very clean and the general atmosphere family-friendly!! There are many concessions for the hungry: Liberty Bell Tap Room, Liberty Grill, Market Street Deli, Chickie's and Pete's, Penn Pizza and Philly Favorites.

Eagles Football at Lincoln Financial Field
68,000-seat Lincoln Financial Field is home to the NFL's Eagles. The stadium opened in 2003 and it sits right alongside Interstate-95 a few miles south of Philadelphia near the airport. The stadium was built to replace old Veterans Stadium, which had been home to the Phillies and the Eagles. Other big events in the stadium include the annual Army-Navy college football game and the Temple Owls home football games.
