Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: In Pittsburgh, the summer is HOT and HUMID, the winter is COLD. Spring lasts about a week in May and Autumn lasts about a week in September. In winter, dress in layers because most indoor places will be well-heated. Pack accordingly.
Miscellaneous: Sunglasses and an umbrella. Go figure.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Pittsburgh has more rain than many other American cities, so bring an umbrella and a waterproof raincoat or windbreaker. Also, bring warm clothing in the winter, because it does get cold.
Photo Equipment: Bring a camera. The Pittsburgh are is prettier than most people who have never been there think it would be.
Miscellaneous: If you are driving, buy a good, detailed map of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area. The terrain is very hilly and the roads have lots and lots of curves, so it is very easy to get turned around and lost. Also, because of the many hills, it is hard to follow distant visual landmarks to get to where you want to go. The road system is definitely not a grid like it is in many American cities.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Don't forget an umbrella. While the high rain season is typically March - June, it can rain any time during the summer.
Photo Equipment: Having a camera, even if it is just a disposable, is essential when travelling a city with as many 'vista points' as the 'burgh.

Luggage and bags: Any bag you want but I suggest one with a look on it!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Your own toilet paper and a lot of sanatizing soap!
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Hotal
Miscellaneous: A map because you would need it if you go to pittsburg because it's easy to get lost in Pittsburg.

Luggage and bags: A small carryon bag
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Shorts are likely not a go here. But then again neither have we seen many get very dressed up other than formal parties like a wedding. A casual approach works best here.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair gel, contact lenses, lens solution, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, brush, shaving cream and razor
Photo Equipment: Do you go anywhere without a camera?
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Umbrella just in case
