    Pittsburgh International Airport

    by Linds147 Written Feb 19, 2003

The Pittsburgh Airport is about fifteen miles from downtown. The 28X bus, complete with luggage racks, can take you to and from the airport from many locations around the city for approximately $2.00. Again, you can also take a cab from the airport and rental car services are avaliable. [Yellow Cab Company - (412) 665-8100] There is also a Hyatt Regency hotel adjacent to the airport if you require lodging.

Pittsburgh is a fantastic place, full of old world history and culture right beside the best Computer Graduate program in the nation, world-class TITLE="Click for more information about technology" STYLE="background-color: #f0f000; " HREF="http://odysseusmarketing.com/walt/go.php?nid=160">technology centers and the world's fastest academic supercomputer. All that in a compact and user friendly downtown. Big enough to cater to your needs yet small enough to still get friendly help on the street corner. da Burgh is the place to be!

EZ pass is accepted at the toll booths. So there was no need to dig out money to pay the toll, which made the trip alot easier.

It is a modest airport with all the amenities of a major international airport. The airport is facilitated with shops and eateries.
