Promised Land Inn: It has great food and great service with a reasonable price. I go there almost every time I am up that way.
A very relaxed atmosphere, kind of homey.

Favorite Dish: If you've never had a Pennsylvania Cheese Steak, try one of theirs. They make a good Sea Breeze too. If you want something more fancy, they also have a great steak.

Locals love this place and will drive over an hour to get here! Watch out for Amish horse and buggys on the way here. Here's the low-down: located in Pennsylvania Dutch area, one price to get in, family style atmosphere, serve- yourself buffet lines (soup/salad, vegetables, main courses, and desserts) as well as a feature dish or two each night, different theme nights-- Tuesday is seafood night for example and costs a few bucks more than other nights. Closed Sundays, though. Open all other days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Moved a couple hundred feet from its original location into new digs with more space just recently. Don't miss the gift store below with Amish crafts and home-baked treats to go.

Favorite Dish: Everything! Unlimited quantities of Pennsylvania Dutch cooking as well as regular favorites. Do not miss out on their homemade breads that come in tons of varieties that include apple-cinnamon, blueberry, and you name it!

If you come to Pennsylvania, try to eat in as many 'mom & pop' restaurants as possible. This is where you will find the best foods. If you find one that serves pig stomach, try it. You won't be disappointed.

This was such a nice place to sit down and relax. The staff were nice, friendly and prompt with reasonable prices. There is a display in the back that is definitely worth visiting.

Favorite Dish: I had cheese cake at this quaint restaurant and it was very good! Of course my wife had her coffee...lol, and we enjoyed looking at the books and displays.

I live in Milford, PA on the Delaware River juncture of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. When in Milford I like to dine at either Dimmick Inn and Steakhouse or The Inn at the Edge of the Forest.
Unique Early 19th Century atmosphere, select and remarkable cuisine, and impeccable service. Moderately pricey but affordable - and worth it! Reservations recommended.

Favorite Dish: From asparagus to zuchinni ' )

There was a restaurant, along with a lounge, in the Best Western in Bradford. The decor was nice, the food good, and the staff efficient.

Favorite Dish: My Cajun Spiced Tilapia was quite good.
