Skytop Transportation

If you go to Skytop from NYC you can choose only one bus line. It is Marz Travel I think and it is going everyday. Price of oneway ticket is around 20-25$. Bus is going only to Pocono Mt station and from there you need to catch a cab to get to the Skytop. Price of this ride is about 15$ and it is gonna take you a 20-30 minutes.

Anna dancing with Lisa at Skytop

Saturday nights at Skytop Lodge are a lot of fun. Everyone gets dressed up for dinner (jackets for men) in the dining room. Then, after dinner, there is a dance in the lodge's main lobby (also called the Pine Room) with a live band. Anna loved dancing with mommy and daddy, and they had a pretty good time, too.

  • Ice Skating at Skytop

In the winter, Skytop offers ice skating at a rink near the lodge. It is not a fancy rink, but large enough to get out and get some exercise. They supply helmets for children and have ice skates available for rent.

  • Golfing at Skytop

Skytop has an 18 hole golf course that winds through the property. It is not a difficult course, but is fun to play, with pleasant scenery. The clubhouse has a pro shop and restaurant, and is located about 1/2 mile from the main lodge.

Skytop Favorites

Favorite thing: I spent there 4 months, which Im not reccomend you, but job is job, right? So it you go there for one week or less, it can be fun. But just for people who like golf and fishing. There is two lakes just nearby hotel with largemouth basses, pikes and sunfishes and one river with trouts for flyfishing. Golf course is OK, but Im not realy fan of that sport. Hotel is fine if you want to stay there but it is little bit pretencious.

Fondest memory: People who I met there and fishing!
