Iron Horse Inn: nice sunday brunch
We dropped in here for a late breakfast on Sunday morning and were surprised by how nice it was. It looks like a big old boarding house with a farmhouse chair rail around it. Not very impressive on the outside, but inside it was done in early 20th century style, rustic and cosy.
For the brunch they have eggs and waffles and french toast (thick) and danish and juice and coffee... all for under $10.
The dinner menu shows typical meat-and-potatoes American food plus some seafood dishes (scampi and fish) and a couple pasta dishes. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable.
For the drinkers in the crowd, there is a nice bar with music and soft lighting.

The Historic Strasburg Inn's Cafe' and Ice Cream: Stop for the best homemade waffle icecream cone
Although we always enjoy our ice-cream in their homemade waffle cones best, you can get any type of breakfast, lunch, or dinner here at the cafeteria-style counter.
Favorite Dish: They have grilled cheese, homemade soups, great coffee, and hearty American breakfasts! The Historic Strasburg Inn is also a bed-and-breakfast where your breakfast is free with your night's stay. (See my hotel tip for Strasburg for the inn's details and photos.)
