These small deer are everywhere in the park and have little fear of cars and people. This park is surrounded by cities and people. This is the only wooded area for them to try and survive.
This dominant feature commemorates the soldiers who wintered at Valley Forge.
It can be seen from several locations as you enter the park.
Replicated huts are located throughout the park. These were used as the soldiers headquarters in the winter.
This administration building provides brochures, books and maps of the park which everyone needs for the self guided tour. This is a typical better home from the 1700's and still copied today.
