The only place I know where the servers are encouraged to hassle the customers. Sometimes the conversations can become heated, but it is always in fun.

I used to live near this restaurant, so I visited it a great number of times! The staff and management were first rate and very friendly, yet efficient. In fact, When my lover and I moved out of the area, they treated us to a meal on the house as a going away gift!! Definitely first rate!!

How can I talk about my favorite places in the USA without mentioning Marie Callenders?? This really is the best of the best home cooked food, ever!!
Okay, I have to mention this one little tip. The Coronado location, in San Diego has one more added bonus. The US air base just down the road invites some very fine 'scenery' into the restaurant on a regular basis, so I always come here, at least once, everytime I visit San Diego!! Tee Hee hee!!!
Hands down, the strawberry pie. My friend Kim, who introduced me to the place, and I would buy a pie, and we could just eat it, right out of the box, for breakfast. Its sooooo good!!! Unfortunately, since the strawberries are seasonal, we can only get it in the spring/summer. I love everything else on the menu, too. The turkey dinner is fabulous, lasagna, roast beef... I know that in many places the world around, McDonald's is held in high opinion. Americans generally do not like McDonald's and dislike the food. I personally eat there about once a year if I need to buy something to be able to use their bathroom or want to be reminded of how bad the food is and why I don't waste my money there. If you want something to eat, there are hundreds of better places to grab something than here. It's just plain nasty food. It's generally known that even the burgers are not really all that much meat. Pass!!! Leave a Comment
