One of Newport's "first summer cottages, this structure was designed by Richard Morris Hunt who also designed many of the famous mansions in Newport. The structure was completed around 1892 and is the main administration building for Regina University.

The structure is located along the "Cliff Walk" and has some expansive and fantastic views of the ocean. The building is open to visitors, check out the website for more details.

I had never seen Ochre Court before. Liz had been there before and knew its history (she was accepted at Salve Regina and considered attending when she was a teenager).

Ochre Court is a Beaux-Arts mansion built in 1892 and designed by the famous Richard Morris Hunt. The building is impressive both on the inside and out.

Along the Cliff Walk, one of the most spectacular buildings is not a mansion, but a university. Salve Regina is a prestigious Catholic college, Its largest building is a French-style chateau.
