Not only does this outdoor garden contain some 50 sculpured bushes; it also contains many small gardens of lovely flowers and benchs nearby where you can rest and soak up the serinity. Also, there is a stone lined Goldfish Pond with water lilies. There is Bamboo and Wild Grass some two stories tall, along with a vast Vegetable Garden.
And when you have finished your tour of the gardens; there are lawn chairs with a spectacular view of Mt.Hope Bay.

admission is only ten dollars per person - most affordable; and there is a lovely Gift Shop . Be sure to bring your camera and walking shoes.

Since breakfast is one of my favorite meals I will list some of the breakfast places in Portsmouth. 501 Park Avenue in Island Park, Food works on East Main road, Cindy's on West Main and Family Restaurant on East Main. Lil Bear in Tiverton is the cheapest and best buy, except that it's dark,( except when you can eat out on the deck) and it's not in Portsmouth,. Food Works has the best light and is spotless.

Favorite Dish: 2 Eggs, toast, coffee and home fries. The best is when the coffee is included and they call this the special even though it is my regular.

Favorite thing: A school in Portsmouth has chosen to puchase a windmill to provide power to the school. In the process they have added power to the education that they provide. There is plenty of wind to go around and as for windmills, they have been part of our idea for lanscaping for a long long time. One can see this windmill from various locations, from various angles and in various lighting. It actually looks pretty good.
