Foxwoods Casino: Disney for grownups
Foxwoods is a massive structure, that rises high above the forests of CT. As the biggest casino in the world, there is a ton to see at this place. My group headed there to see where I had worked for six months, so we were only able to take the speed wallking tour through the halls of the main casino floor. We did, however, enjoy a stop at cedars to have a drink with some of the guys I used to work with.
Dress Code: Anything goes here. BB King nightclub has a dress code, typical of any dance club. Cedars, Han Garden and a few other restaurants request business casual dress, but for the most part you can get away with jeans and sneakers.

Nightlife? What nightlife!?!
We tried our best one night but we found very little considering it is a university town. However, if you like shopping and people watching check out the Providence Place Mall.
The Providence Place Mall is a multi-level shopping mall which is excellent for people watching.

Normally, I would fill in a night spot. But Providence really doesn't have much of a night life. Sure there are a few bars and assorted hang outs but there was no place you can really get into trouble which is odd for an university town.
My only recommendation is the Providence Place Mall.
The Mall is a multi-level shopping palace which is great for people watching.
Liquid Lounge: Liquid Lounge
Very cool bar, dark, lots of candles and red velvet couches. $1.50 Rolling Rocks!! The jukebox has everything from Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday to LL Cool J and DMX to Nine Inch Nails. The crowd that goes here is just as diverse.
Comedy Connection: Comedy Connection
On Friday nights there is an X-Rated hypnotist. Take my advice and DO NOT VOLUNTEER!!! Just watch the show from the safety of your seat; it can be hysterically funny...or so I was told... World-famous comics pass through here, and it's a small place, every seat is good.

An authentic Irish restaurant and pub. On weekend nights it's full of people drinking good beer and socializing. The food is great...Try the fish and chips with a cold Magners cider. Yum....
