    Newport Warnings and Dangers

The sidewalks here are horrible They should bulldoze them all and start new. Most streets have bushes pushing into the small sidewalk area forcing you out onto the street. The surface of the sidewalks are also quite up and down and badly broken up. So do watch every step you take over here.

  • Rocky Section of the Cliff Walk

There is a section of the Cliff Walk after the Breakers Mansion that is a coastal rockway. Although the rocks are large and flat walking on them still may be a little challenging. I would recommend that children in strollers, women in heels, and the elderly walk about 3 blocks on Bellevue Ave. until picking up the Cliff Walk again.
