Salsa Cabana: Dancing at a classy spot, for ladies and gents.

    by m1nkey Updated Apr 4, 2011

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The best place for Latin Music and dancing anywhere near Columbia. Friendly crowd, lively atmosphere and great dancers. This as a great place to watch, even if you don't dance. Salsa, merengue, house music and more. A place ladies can feel comfortable. A mixed age crowd, always packed, and not smoky. Open Fridays and Saturdays at 9pm. The ragular crowd usually gets there closer to 11. A must see if you like to dance. And particularly if you are tired of the get drunk and rowdy college crowd.

Dress Code: Dress nice, or to impress. Casual is accepted as long as you're clean. No ball caps. No cigars.

Vista Brewing Company: Beer on premises is always best

by acemj Updated Apr 24, 2004

    2 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Nat and I stopped in here in the late afternoon and enjoyed our time here chatting with the cute bartender, Brooke. Unfortunately, my stout, the first beer she poured all night, splattered on her white shirt, but oh well!!! She still looked cute in it.

Dress Code: I had one of the brewed on premised stouts and some She Crab soup. I splashed a little extra sherry in the soup, but it was still a bit too salty for my liking. The flavor wasn't bad, I just could have done with a little less saltiness. The beer was excellent, and by no means bashful. Brooke was cool as can be and really made us feel at home.

Most of the entrees are in the $17-25 range.
