The only way to see parts of the park is by canoe or kayak. You can rent equipment at several different outfitters in Columbia if you do not have your own. One of the primitive camping areas is only accessible by boat.

    Hike the Boardwalk Trail

The Boardwalk Trail is the main foot trail in the park. This is the best trail to take for an introduction to the floodplain forest which makes up the park, and the trail to take if you only have time for one trail. The Boardwalk Trail is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. It connects with the other foot trails in the park.
