Favorite Dish: We split a rack of lamb with each of us having our own drink, salad, roll and dessert, and the total bill was $47.00 I went away still sort of hungry - there wasn't a superfluity of food.

DATAW ISLAND has Floating docks, $1/foot/day, electricity $5/day, free cable TV with about 50 channels, ice, showers, laundry, a courtesy phone line where one can plug a computer in to get e-mail - the phone line goes to phones both outside on the veranda and in the laundry room. They ordered a replacement cable and we got a guy to come down and align the shaft. There is a restaurant for lunch and dinner, closed Sun and Mon..

Equipment: The name of the island is Datha, but the development on it spells it Dataw. If you want to get there by land, you have to go through a guarded gate. Tell them you are going to the marina.

Favorite thing: I did not see anything of this island other than the marina. I liked the marina as the people were competant and nice. I know the island is private and I expected that the people would be snooty.
